Sticks and Stones is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Associate who can demonstrate a passion for customer service, fashion enthusiasm, amazing communication abilities, and accountability.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A minimum of one year of experience in sales within the retail industry

• The capability to effectively and confidently interact with customers and identify their needs.

• Proficiency offering advice on gemstone selection and aiding customers to make the best choices.

• Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and in collaboration with a team.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable the maintenance of composure during tough situations.

• In-depth knowledge of gemstones including identification, cut, setting types, characteristics, pricing trends, etc.

• Knowledge of metaphysical and divination products.

• Working familiarity with relevant Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.

• The capacity to lift up to 50 lbs easily.

• A sharp eye for detail; must have capability to accurately detect characteristics in gems.

• Impressive problem-solving capabilities as well as excellent customer service attitude.

• An adept multitasker capable of smoothly managing customer interactions in a visible environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be 18 years or older.

• Submission of a fully completed employment application.

• Possess a friendly disposition, exceptional customer service skills, and an eagerness to learn.

• Basic understanding of gemstones and metaphysical products is necessary.
